ANTUFEN
SEEDS grows melon, watermelon, squash, pumpkin,
cucumber, among other cucurbit hybrid seeds. Most
of the productions are subcontracted to local farmers
and closely supervised by specialized ANTUFEN SEEDS
agronomists. A rigorous quality control work during
each step of production secures the highest standards
of quality (genetic purity, germination and healthy)
and yields.
We have the tools for the detection of seedborne diseases when necessary.

Melon: Cantaloupe,
piel de sapo, yellow canary, charentais, galia,
ananas, honey dew, harper are some types grown
by ANTUFEN SEEDS. The productions can be grown
in open field, under plastic greenhouses and
under antiaphid nethouses.
Watermelon: Years of experience
and research in watermelon seed production
has given us the knowledge needed to reach
the maximum yield and germination on triploid
and diploid hybrid watermelon varieties.

Squash and Pumpkin: Cucurbita
pepo, C. maxima, C. moschata as well as interspecific
crosses are grown with techniques such as hand
pollination or the use of ethrel and bees.
Cucumber: Slicing, mini, long
Dutch, gherkin and picklings are grown by ANTUFEN
SEEDS. The spraying with silver thiosulfate and
ethrel, and the hand pollination are some of the
techniques used for the cucumber seed production.
These crops can be produced in open field, under
greenhouse or under nethouses.
Basic seed increase and purity field grow outs
are other services provided by ANTUFEN SEEDS.
